Overview
AECOM is seeking a
Construction Project Manager – Data Centres
to join our Dublin office. As a Project Manager specialising in data centres, you will lead the successful delivery of mission-critical projects, overseeing the full project lifecycle from concept and design development through procurement, construction, and commissioning, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to high standards of performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Responsibilities
Leading the end-to-end delivery of data centre and colocation projects, from initial concept and design through procurement, construction, and commissioning
Directing multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver complex, mission-critical projects in line with programme, cost, and quality targets
Serving as the primary client interface, ensuring clear communication and alignment with technical, operational, and commercial objectives
Assuming full accountability for project outcomes, including risk management, change control, and governance across all phases
Managing contractor performance and site operations, including oversight of construction activities and commissioning within both live and new-build environments
Controlling project budgets, schedules, and reporting processes, maintaining strong financial discipline and programme certainty throughout
Qualifications
A postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline
Currently working towards Chartered status with one of the following professional bodies: RICS / CIOB / ICE / RIBA / Engineers Ireland
Membership or affiliation with APM would be advantageous
