What You Will Do
You'll take the lead in building and testing complex assemblies, following established procedures while helping engineers refine and improve them. You'll use your technical expertise to troubleshoot issues, verify processes, and mentor junior technicians—all while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence. From advising on manufacturing approaches to validating new methods, you'll play a vital role in ensuring every component that leaves our facility meets Centrus's world‑class standard.
We'd Love to Hear From People With
A High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
5+ years of production experience in the nuclear, chemical, or manufacturing industry
A strong mechanical aptitude and passion for precision craftsmanship
Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement
The ability to obtain and maintain a "Q" clearance.
A Successful Candidate Brings
Experience in centrifuge or enrichment technology
A current or active Q‑Clearance
Hands‑on expertise as a Qualified Assembly Technician for Rotor, Column, Lower Suspension, or Upper Suspension Assemblies
Experience with filament winding and high‑precision manufacturing processes
Compliance and Background Checks
In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
This position will require a pre‑employment background check and a pre‑employment drug test.
This position requires the successful candidate to obtain and maintain a Q security clearance and undergo the required background investigation.
