About the role
As a CAE Engineer you will contribute to the selection, development and maintenance of CAD engineering and design tools used within the GOS organization. You will work with team members to troubleshoot software issues, develop solutions and support the population and maintenance of plant data associated with various engineering applications.
You will report to the Manager, Computer Aided Engineering, Design Automation/Configuration and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. The position is hybrid; you will be on site two days per week. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided for this position.
Key Responsibilities
Support CAD Administration Lead in daily tasks.
Plan, schedule and complete assignments independently within project schedule and budgetary requirements.
Oversee the creation and development of 3D models and related engineering data which capture design information for any of the associated engineering disciplines (CSA, Electrical, Piping) using multiple software applications observing established project and quality requirements.
Oversee creation and revision control of drawings derived from 3D models or otherwise created.
Oversee data management tools used to store and maintain CAD data.
Perform associated software administration tasks, communicate with software vendor and approve license usage.
Work with partners to develop and establish interface connections between CAD management tools and other enterprise software solutions for data collection and reporting, such as internally developed applications or commercially available applications.
Improve work processes and lead improvements with standard procedures to ensure the best performance.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Required (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil / Structural)

Experience with CAD applications
Minimum 3.0 GPA
