Estate Planning Probate Paralegal

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced estate planning and probate paralegal to join our team. Our office is closed on Fridays, so this is a full-time position for 4 days a week, Monday through Thursday. The ideal candidate will assist attorneys with drafting estate planning documents, managing probate files, preparing court filings, and maintaining client relationships with empathy and professionalism. Our firm is comprised of four attorneys and is a client-focused law firm, dedicated exclusively to estate planning, probate, and trust administration. Responsibilities

Draft estate plans using firm documents and Wealth Counsel

Manage tasks and client information through Clio and Outlook

Assist the attorney with the entire probate administration process

File documents with probate courts and maintain compliance with local rules and deadlines

Maintain and organize client files and case management systems

Communicate with clients, financial institutions, courts, and other parties to gather necessary information

Track deadlines and manage calendaring of important dates

Provide administrative support to attorneys as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of experience as a paralegal in estate planning and/or probate law

Strong understanding of estate and probate processes and legal terminology

Proficient with legal software and document management systems with Clio, Wealth Counsel, GSCCCA, and MS Office

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines independently

Compassionate and client-focused demeanor

Compensation
$30 - $35 hourly
