Job Description
Mid‑sized law firm seeks an experienced Judicial Foreclosure Paralegal / Legal Assistant to support the Department with the prosecution of judicial foreclosure cases in the six states where it is licensed. Duties include case onboarding, drafting and filing pleadings, e‑filing, monitoring cases, and conducting court‑ordered sales. The role requires timely updating of client systems and professional responses to client calls and emails, with additional project‑based support as needed.
Position is hybrid remote at this time; fully remote may be considered based on qualifications. Pay range is based on experience. Employment requires a background check prior to start date.
Qualifications and Experience
Proficiency with computers and ability to learn new systems quickly.
Ability to multi‑task and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, frequently changing environment.
Professional email etiquette, customer‑service focus, and attention to detail.
Minimum of 2 years drafting experience (preferred).
Minimum of 2–4 years judicial foreclosure experience (required).
Reliable and dependable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Experience with e‑filing systems.
Paralegal certificate (preferred).
JD degree (plus).
