
Public Entity Paralegal

Hall & Evans, LLC, one of Colorado’s oldest and most reputable trial firms, currently has an opportunity for an experienced Public Entity Paralegal in our Downtown Denver office. This position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
This position can offer a hybrid working schedule (3 days in-office and 2 days remote) after successfully completing the training period.
Requirements
Civil litigation experience with a defense firm, preferred
Colorado civil litigation experience, required
Minimum 5+ years of relevant paralegal experience
Experience in civil rights litigation, highly preferred
Obtain, review, and analyze records, including employment, financial, and other relevant documentation
Prepare summaries of case-related records and materials
Draft pleadings, discovery, and routine correspondence
Experience billing time
Well-developed writing and research skills
Intermediate to advanced skill level in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook
Ability to stay focused on numerous details while maintaining a high level of accuracy
Anticipating attorney’s needs, identifying problems, and finding solutions
Ability to work with limited supervision, independently or with a team
Ability to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships with a wide variety of people
Ability to exercise a high degree of tact, discretion, and sound judgment
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a high-volume workload to meet time-critical deadlines
Exceptional interpersonal skills with a mature, professional, and personable presentation and demeanor
High level of integrity and personal accountability
Flexibility to work overtime as necessary to meet deadlines
Excellent attendance and reliability
ABA Paralegal Certificate, preferred
Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree, preferred
Ability to lift 25 lbs. when necessary
The hiring range for this position is $55,000 to $93,400 annually.
