Position Summary
We're hiring a skilled CNC Machinist II to support the production of precision components in a dynamic, low-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and operating advanced CNC equipment to produce complex parts across a range of materials while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, problem-solving, and working on a variety of custom or short-run jobs.
What You'll Do
Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including multi-axis equipment
Produce parts to exact specifications, holding tight tolerances
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
Perform first article and in-process inspections
Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment
Make tool adjustments and assist with tool maintenance as needed
Maintain organized work areas and follow 5S and safety practices
Support team initiatives and assist with additional shop needs when required
What We're Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent required; machining certification is a plus
3–5+ years of experience in CNC machining
Experience working with tight-tolerance, precision parts
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
Working knowledge of G-code and M-code
Experience with multi-axis machining (5-axis is a strong advantage)
Key Skills
Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
Mechanical aptitude and solid math skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues
Comfortable working independently and managing time effectively
Positive attitude with a willingness to support the team
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Clean and well-maintained production environment
Standing for extended periods throughout the shift
Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
Use of standard PPE including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear
