Role Description
We are seeking a skilled 3rd shift Press Operator for a full-time, on-site role located in Seville, OH. The Press Operator will manage the operation of press machines, complete pre-press preparation, and troubleshoot equipment as needed. The operator will also be responsible for ongoing quality control to ensure precision and compliance with established manufacturing standards.
Qualifications
Operate stamping press according to pressroom procedures
Knowledge of Pre-press processes and the ability to prepare materials for production
Catch parts, handle scrap that is generated, and fill lubricant/coolant reservoir
Understanding of Quality Control standards to ensure products meet specifications
Strong Troubleshooting skills to quickly identify and resolve technical issues
Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality
Education/Experience/Training
Experience with progressive dies
1 year experience with stamping dies
1 year experience with presses and related equipment
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications are a plus
