What You Will Do to Change Lives
Under direct supervision, you will serve as a primary support and case manager for individuals with mental illness and other co-occurring disorders by assisting them to live as independently as possible in their chosen community.
Work Hours and Compensation
Full‑time, Monday‑Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM. Expected starting wage range is $21.00 – $25.15, with geographic differentials applied.
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
High School Graduation or G.E.D. equivalent and three (3) years of direct services in mental health or community services; OR Associate’s degree and two (2) years of experience; OR Bachelor’s degree in Social Services.
At least one (1) year of direct service experience as a Housing Specialist supporting the San Bernardino County FACT, ACT, and MAPS programs. In addition to the above, candidates must also have:
• At least thirty semester (45 quarter) units of completed college coursework in behavioral or social science; OR
• Sixty semester (90 quarter) units of completed college coursework, including 15 semester (23 quarter) units in behavioral science. Psych Tech courses and Alcohol and Drug Certificate courses are acceptable.
• One (1) year of experience providing mental health services, including interviewing, referring participants, and performing crisis intervention.
• Three (3) years of experience in a behavioral health department involving direct participant contact; OR
• Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and six (6) months of experience providing mental health services, including interviewing, referring participants, and performing crisis intervention.
Valid and current driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance with your name listed as a driver.
Willingness to use your personal vehicle to drive clients to appointments, groups, and meetings.
Willingness to use the company vehicle to drive clients to appointments and groups.
