Job Summary
We are seeking a Companion Caregiver to join our team! In this role, you will make a difference in the lives of adults with disabilities by enhancing their quality of life. Responsibilities include assisting with hygiene needs, light housekeeping and errands, dispensing medication, and other tasks that improve the client’s living environment and standards. The ideal candidate is patient, compassionate, and reliable and personable.
Responsibilities
Providing companionship and conversation
Assist with personal hygiene needs and dressing
Employment support
Prepare meals and snacks
Transportation to appointments or activities
Medical appointment support
Assist with errands and shopping
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide, IHSS provider or similar role is preferred
Reliable transportation
Knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and cooking skills
Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of autism and disabilities
Compassionate, respectful, ethical
