Position Summary
The Public Relations (PR) Manager participates in an advanced leadership learning experience focused on overseeing communication strategies, managing crisis communications, and directing the overall public image of the Academy. This role provides senior-level exposure to strategic PR planning and reputation management within a guided program environment.

Learning Focus Areas
- Development and oversight of PR strategies
- Crisis communications planning and response
- Reputation management and public image direction
- Media relations strategy and stakeholder engagement
- Integration of PR with overall communications efforts
Program Activities
- Leading PR strategy development and campaign oversight
- Managing crisis communications scenarios (simulated and guided)
- Directing the Academy’s public image and messaging
- Coordinating with the Social Media, Marketing, and Influencer teams
- Mentoring PR Specialists and Assistants
- Providing strategic recommendations to Communications leadership
Leadership Development Component
This role includes leadership development through strategic oversight, crisis management practice, and cross-team coordination under the guidance of the Director of Communications.
Participation Expectations
- Engage consistently at a leadership level in all program activities
- Maintain professional, strategic communication with internal and external stakeholders
- Provide guidance and support to junior team participants
Qualifications
Education / Background
Candidates may include individuals with prior experience or strong interest in public relations, strategic communications, or crisis management.
