Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed. Please note that Banner is allowed to cancel 1 shift.

The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide high-quality nursing care to expectant mothers and newborns. Responsibilities include monitoring the health of mothers and infants, providing education regarding labor and delivery processes, and responding to emergencies as needed.

• Conduct assessments of patients in labor and delivery.
• Provide guidance and education to expectant mothers and families.
• Administer medications and manage pain relief options.
• Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs.
• Assist in labor and delivery, ensuring safety and comfort for the mother and baby.

• Minimum of 24 months of Labor and Delivery experience with recent experience in the last 12 months is required.
• Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI.
• No hits on state license to practice.
• Driver's license to verify residency.
• Travel experience is highly preferred.
• Active ACLS, BLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required.
