RN - Outpatient Clinic

Contract Registered Nurse (RN) Opportunity

Location: Woodrow Wilson Keeble Memorial Health Care Center

Contract Duration: September 1, 2025 August 31, 2030

Shifts: Rotating 8- or 12-hour weekday shifts, with 4-hour weekend shifts

On-Call/Standby: Not required

Contract Structure

• Base Period: 6 months (September 1, 2025 February 28, 2026)
• Optional Extensions: Up to nine (9) additional 6-month option periods (total of 5 years)

Open Positions: Three (3) Registered Nurses for outpatient clinic services

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and coordinate outpatient care plans
• Administer medications and treatments, including IVs, oral medications, and injections
• Operate basic clinical equipment such as EKG machines, blood pressure monitors, and glucometers
• Educate patients and families on preventive health and rehabilitation practices
• Accurately document all care provided in the electronic medical record (EMR) in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals
• Deliver professional, respectful, and culturally competent patient care
• Assist with phone calls and appointment scheduling as needed

Facility Schedule

• Weekdays: 8:00 AM 8:00 PM
• Weekends: 1:00 PM 5:00 PM
• Shifts are assigned by the Director of Nursing or designee and may vary based on facility needs

Minimum Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state or territory
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least one (1) year of RN experience
• Compliance with all health and immunization requirements prior to start, including: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and Tdap
• All medical documentation must be submitted before contract start date
