Your Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic examinations, and creating customized care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing acute, chronic, or episodic health issues through collaboration with fellow physicians or working independently (depending on credentials)
• Instructing patients and their families on wellness, preventative measures, and managing diseases
• Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in alignment with your practice scope
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care
• Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide streamlined, comprehensive care
• Maintaining accurate and thorough documentation in electronic medical records (EMR)

Required Education

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Required Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Nevada
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or a comparable specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to acquire within 90 days)
