Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
Location: Houston, TX (16211 Air Center Blvd)
Company: NOV - Wellbore Technologies (Downhole Engineering)
Position Type: Hourly
Position Summary
NOV is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. Responsible for handling shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are processed, stored, and documented properly. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, and able to work independently in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
Load/unload shipments using forklift
Receive, inspect, and store materials
Prepare, crate, and package shipments
Schedule carriers and coordinate outbound shipments
Maintain records in JD Edwards (JDE)
Manage shipping/receiving documentation
Assist with inventory tracking
Perform daily equipment inspections
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Follow all NOV HSE policies
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Warehouse/shipping experience preferred
Forklift experience preferred
JDE experience a plus
Skills & Competencies
Basic computer skills (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Attention to detail and organization
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills
Team-oriented and self-motivated
Additional Requirements
Adhere to all HSE requirements
Willing to work overtime as needed
