Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Engineer 3 will contribute to moderately complex engineering initiatives within Infrastructure Engineering, focusing on Java/Scala, Spark, SQL, and bigdata platform tooling. This role involves designing and engineering data processing solutions, integrating with Hadoop ecosystem components, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting infrastructurebased deliverables. The engineer will troubleshoot, analyze performance issues, and collaborate with crossfunctional engineering and infrastructure partners to meet compliance, risk, and operational requirements.

DaytoDay Responsibilities:

• Develop Sparkbased applications using

Java

or

Scala

• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using

Git ,

Gradle ,

Maven

• Work within Hadoop bigdata environments (Hive, Kafka, S3, Iceberg)

• Write, tune, and optimize

SQL

and

Spark SQL

processing logic

• Create and maintain

bash scripts

for automation and system orchestration

• Participate in performance tuning and improvement efforts for bigdata workloads

• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and data engineering teams

• Evaluate moderately complex engineering challenges and propose scalable solutions

• Contribute to cloud migration or cloudnative application development (AWS/GCP)

• Provide technical consultation leveraging strong bigdata and infrastructure knowledge

• Ensure compliance with internal engineering and security standards
