Fixed Asset Accountant
Wiss, Trenton, NJ, United States
Role is fully onsite 5x a week. Will be responsible for all general accounting duties (posting of monthly journal entries, bank and balance sheet recs, prepare accruals, review billing, invoices, expense reports, cc transactions. Individual will also be in charge of vendor management, prep of internal financial statements, budget prep/forecasting and support of year-end audit.
In this role, you will be tasked with fixed asset and lease accounting experience in order to maintain accurate records and depreciation schedules.
MUST HAVE:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2+ years of progressive accounting experience / strong understanding of accounting principles
Very knowledgeable in fixed asset accounting (and lease accounting), depreciation schedules
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software; any experience with Deltek Vision or Vantagepoint a PLUS
