Quality Control Manager (Concrete)

Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and manage quality control programs across all production facilities in compliance with PCI, NPCA, ACPA, and applicable ASTM/AASHTO standards Oversee and direct plant-level QC personnel, providing training, mentorship, and technical guidance Design, review and approve concrete mix designs, ensuring performance requirements are consistently met Manage and maintain testing programs including but not limited to ASR testing, Coulomb testing, resistivity testing, compressive strength testing, and other applicable methods Conduct internal audits and coordinate third-party inspections and certification audits Investigate and resolve quality non-conformances, lead root cause analysis and corrective action processes Collaborate with the engineering team on product development, shop drawing review, and specification compliance Liaise with customers, project engineers, and inspectors on quality-related matters Maintain accurate and thorough QC documentation, test records, and reporting Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant state DOT and federal quality standards for infrastructure products Stay current with industry developments, standards updates, and best practices in precast concrete quality management Required Qualifications/Experience: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure will be considered Experience in precast or prestressed concrete manufacturing Hands-on concrete mix design experience Familiarity with PCI, NPCA, and/or ACPA certification requirements and auditing processes Demonstrated experience in concrete construction, manufacturing, or materials testing Strong understanding of concrete materials, properties, and quality standards (ASTM, AASHTO) Proven ability to lead and manage a team in a manufacturing or industrial environment Benefits: 401(K) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Paid Time Off Referral program Relocation assistance Vision insurance Direct Hire Salary Range: $90K-$130K annually Ask for: Sunitha Job Id: 26236 Ajulia Executive Search is a New Jersey based Executive Search Firm specializing in retained searches in multiple sectors, including Manufacturing, Finance, IT, Legal, and Pharmaceutical.
