Investor Services Representative I

The Transfer Agency Investor Services Team provides telephone support to mutual fund shareholders, prospective shareholders, and the public. These calls can range from trade details, distributions, tax forms, purchases, and redemptions with the goal of placing trades.
As the Investor Services Representative I, you will support shareholders by resolving their issues in a pleasant manner. Ask open ended questions to determine the root cause and provide solutions. In addition, you must be able to pass the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam within 6 months after hire. As your knowledge increases, you will begin working with alternative investments with opportunities to move into a Team Lead
How you will spend your time:
Respond to incoming calls from prospective shareholders
Assist shareholders with inquiries and provide account information
Answer questions regarding investment style, fund performance, account options and history
Analyze, research, and resolve shareholder concerns
Educate callers about funds and products
Process all transactions for shareholders
Record caller information and request mailing of appropriate fund materials
Provide excellent customer service
Updating SOLAR, our internal fund information database
Making outbound calls for clients of our Lead Generation project

Bachelor's Degree OR equivalent work experience
You have at least 6 months working in a customer service environment that required direct in-person or phone interaction
Compensation Range:
$32,640.00 - $62,640.00
The posted compensation range on this listing represents UMB's standard for this role, but the actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
