Description

The Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk processes shipments using various shipping software and systems. Prepares proper paperwork and documentation for various shipments. Responsible for the accurate completion of any and all shipping and receiving tasks such as packing, cleaning and sorting supplies.
Warehouse Shipping and Receiving Clerk duties may include:
Forwards all paperwork from staff and vendors to include shipping documents, procurement and invoices to the Purchasing Coordinator.
Organizes and stores products in their designated areas while keeping orderly, organized, and clean.
Confers with staff and vendors to discuss defective or unacceptable goods or services and determine corrective action.
Contacts and/or distributes supplies received to appropriate parties and/or ensures they received the ordered items in a timely manner.
Ensures timely delivery of equipment and supplies while meeting schedule requirements and directed timelines.
Develops and maintains a good working relationship with internal and external customers.
Verifies receipt of items by comparing items received to items ordered.
Maintains a minimum and maximum inventory in all storage areas.
Loads and unloads delivery trucks using hand trucks and/or pallet jacks as required.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior relevant work experience
Must have valid driver's license and vehicle liability insurance
