Delivery Driver
The Delivery Driver is responsible for ensuring the timely, accurate, and safe delivery of construction materials to predetermined customers and job sites. This role includes reviewing orders prior to delivery, loading and unloading materials, providing exceptional customer service, and assisting with basic shipping and receiving and warehouse duties. The Delivery Driver must meet insurance requirements, including passing a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
Duties and Responsibilities
Safely load, transport, and deliver construction materials to job sites, customers, and company facilities
Inspect vehicles prior to delivery and report maintenance or safety issues promptly
Verify orders for accuracy and damage; review deliveries with customers and obtain confirmations
Communicate delivery schedules, delays, and discrepancies with customers and internal teams
Maintain clean, organized, and safe delivery vehicles and work areas
Adhere to all company, jobsite, OSHA, and PPE safety requirements
Support warehouse operations including loading/unloading (manual and forklift), organizing materials, and general shop maintenance
Assist with shipping and receiving activities, meetings, and inventory counts as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a delivery driver
Ability to read and use a tape measure and ruler accurately
Basic communication and comprehension skills
Strong customer service skills with a positive, professional attitude
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and work independently
Physical abilities include repeated lifting, climbing, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
Ability to lift at least 50 pounds unassisted and heavier loads with assistance
Sufficient arm-hand steadiness, coordination, near vision, and physical strength to perform job duties

Employment for this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening. This role is classified as safety-sensitive, and as such, is subject to a zero-tolerance drug and alcohol policy. Drug screening will be conducted in accordance with federal regulations, including but not limited to the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and applicable state and local laws. A positive drug test or failure to comply with the screening process will result in disqualification from employment.
