Customer Service/Collections Details:
Temporary position
$ 15.00 / hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)
Contact consumers via phone, email and written correspondence regarding past-due accounts.
Negotiate and secure payments in accordance with company guidelines. Clearly explain account details, payment options, and resolution plans.
Document all account activity accurately and thoroughly in the system. Comply with all collection laws and regulations, including FDCPA and applicable state laws.
Handle sensitive conversations professionally and respectfully. Meet or exceed individual and team performance goals.
Work closely with supervisors and team members to resolve account issues. Escalate complex or disputed account as appropriate.
Customer Service/Collections Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior collections, call center, or customer service experience preferred
Strong communication, negotiation, and active listening skills
Ability to remain calm, professional, and respectful in difficult conversations
Basic computer skills and ability to learn collection software Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy Reliable attendance and punctuality
