Job Description

Schedule: M-F, 7am-3:30pm
What will you be doing in this role?
The Inventory and Warehouse Coordinator provides support for all supervisors in production with operational functions of warehouse material handling and distribution to meet the deadline requirements of each customer while maintaining all quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but may not be limited to the following:
Being proficient on Avery Dennison IDS Inventory system (training provided)
Conduct daily "Pick and Pack" operation and shipping
Conduct daily/weekly Inventory counts
Interact with shipping/receiving vendors to ensure efficient logistics in and out of the facility.
Timely and safe distribution of warehouse material to their required location within the building.
Uses in-house computerized tracking system to log materials accurately. Follows department guidelines for these activities.
Accurately inspects and distributes all products in a timely fashion.
Ensures ALL quality control standards are being maintained.
Follows all policies and procedures that are outlined within the employee handbook or by the operations facility.
Works with all department managers, supervisors and leads to ensure proper material distribution.
Completes a daily forklift inspection checklist for any forklift used.
Completes Vestcom forklift driving certification.
Complies with all company policies regarding forklift and warehouse safety.
Communicates any problems or quality issues due to shipping errors to the appropriate individuals.
Must be able to lift or move materials with weights up to 50 pounds.
Keeps all work areas safe, clean and in good condition.
Follows any other instructions given by supervisors and/or management to complete other tasks or projects, ensuring the objectives are accomplished accurately and within the timeframe allotted.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Compliance with applicable Company policies concerning maintaining a drug free workplace is required.
Compliance with all Company policies is required including all safety policies and procedures
Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; and at least 2 years' previous material handling experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Must have previous forklift experience/certification.
Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an associate encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a manufacturing environment. Continuous, high to moderate levels of noise require hearing protection to be worn at all times. To ensure the associate's safety, when working in the manufacturing environment, safety glasses and any other applicable safety equipment are required. Exposure to chemicals, inks, and coatings requires the appropriate PPE to be worn when handling.
Position requires:
Standing over 2/3 of the time daily
Using hands to finger, handle or feel over 2/3 of the time daily
Reaching with hands and arms
Lifting between 25lbs and 50lbs 1/3 to 2/3 of the time daily
Color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors) for quality control standards
