Delivery Driver Opportunity
Location: Venice Beach, Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Wednesdays & Saturdays | 5:00 AM
Afternoon
Pay: $30/hour
California Seafood Company is a fast-growing premium shellfish distributor serving top restaurants across Los Angeles. We're looking for reliable, detail-oriented Delivery Drivers to join our team for early-morning routes on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well with chefs and restaurant staff, and is comfortable handling perishable food products with care.
What You'll Do
Safely operate company delivery vans (Dodge ProMaster 3500) on scheduled routes
Load, transport, and deliver shellfish to restaurants across LA
Accurately follow detailed route and delivery instructions
Check orders for accuracy and handle products carefully
Take and maintain records of deliveries (signatures, counts, notes, photos as needed)
Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers throughout your route
Provide friendly, professional customer service at every stop
Return van to HQ in Venice Beach at the end of your shift
What We're Looking For
Clean driving record
and valid driver's license
Experience driving or strong comfort with
large vans (Dodge ProMaster 3500 or similar)
Strong
attention to detail
and ability to follow detailed instructions
Comfortable handling fresh shellfish and working around seafood smells
Ability to
take and keep accurate delivery records
Excellent
communication and customer service skills
Physically able to
lift and move boxes up to 70 lbs
repeatedly
Reliable, punctual, and professional
Ability to
commute to and from our HQ in Venice Beach
for each shift
Smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
Must be comfortable with smell of seafood
Must be willing to submit to breathalyzer/drug test on driving shifts
Nice to Have
Prior delivery, courier, or food distribution experience
Familiarity with Los Angeles routes and traffic patterns
Experience working with perishable food products
