Warehouse - Parts/Material Order Picker

Our client is seeking motivated individuals to fill the entry-level role of warehouse - parts/material order picker. In this crucial position, you'll be the backbone of the supply chain, efficiently gathering materials needed for upcoming HVAC installation projects. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience, develop valuable skills, and progress toward a future fabrication role, delivery driver, or potentially an installer position.
Required skills:
Ability to read a tape measure accurately, up to 1/16 of an inch (basic measuring test will be conducted at interview)
Willingness to learn to identify various HVAC parts through training and reference materials
Strong attendance and punctuality to ensure smooth workflow
Capable of learning to read and interpret technical prints
Basic comfort with hand and power tools preferred
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
Nice to have skills:
Previous experience with metal fabrication or tool use
Familiarity with inventory management or warehouse systems
Basic understanding of shop safety procedures
Experience working with forklifts (training and certification provided on-site)
Preferred education and experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or construction exposure is a plus, but not required; training will be provided
Other requirements:
Ability to work a daylight shift from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday
Willingness to learn forklift operation and safety procedures
Ability to measure precisely and handle physical tasks efficiently
