Material Handler
LHH is seeking a dependable and detail oriented Material Handler to support our client's daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role is essential to ensuring materials are moved, stored, and prepared accurately and safely to support production and shipping needs.
The ideal candidate is hands on, safety focused, and comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Load, unload, move, and stage materials within warehouse and production areas
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
Pick, pack, and prepare materials for shipment according to order requirements
Verify incoming and outgoing materials for accuracy, damage, and proper documentation
Maintain accurate inventory records using RF scanners or warehouse systems
Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Support general warehouse and material handling operations as needed
Qualifications
Previous warehouse or material handling experience preferred
Forklift experience or certification a plus (sit down, stand up, reach, or pallet jack)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
Basic experience using scanners or computer systems
Reliable attendance and ability to thrive in a fast paced environment
Pay & Benefits
Pay:
$22$24/hour, depending on experience
