CNC Laser Programmer

We are seeking a skilled CNC Laser Programmer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in programming CNC Punch Press and/or Lasers for Sheet Metal Fabrication. The role involves programming Sheet Metal parts for Amada Fiber Laser/punch combo and Turret Punch, requiring proficiency in AP100 and familiarity with the person.
Responsibilities
Program and maintain current file revisions of all client parts.
Interpret engineering blueprints to draw (program) flat pattern layouts of parts.
Utilize CAD/CAM software to continuously improve run time and programming time.
Apply strong mathematical, organizational, and planning skills, knowledgeable in GD&T.
Demonstrate a firm understanding of bending calculations and flat pattern layout.
Organize tasks in order of importance and use time effectively to complete work in a timely manner.
Essential Skills
Minimum of 3 years working experience with programming CNC Punch Press and/or Lasers.
Proficiency in AP100.
Strong mathematical skills and ability to read blueprints.
Knowledge of GD&T.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
3-5 years experience in a machine shop.
Experience with SolidWorks and sheet metal programming.
Familiarity with prototype, axis, mikron, fadal, moki, blueprints, and tolerance.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
