Position Overview The Shipping Associate is responsible for preparing, packaging, and staging outbound orders for delivery from a fast-paced electrical supplier distribution center. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and safe handling of electrical components, tools, and industrial materials.
Key Responsibilities
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
Verify part numbers, quantities, and shipping documentation
Perform cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory levels
Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials (training provided if needed)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shipping area
Coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams to meet daily shipping deadlines
Qualifications
Previous warehouse or shipping experience preferred
Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
Ability to work on your feet in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Familiarity with electrical parts is a plus, but not required
