Abeka Mailroom Clerk
The Mailroom Clerk is responsible for all outgoing and incoming mail/packages from the Abeka Building. The Clerk ensures correct and prompt delivery of all mail.
Manage Incoming Mail
Scan mail/packages when they arrive. Organize mail/packages to ensure efficient delivery. Conduct scheduled mail runs.
Manage Outgoing Mail
Ensure that customers receive the correct information from outgoing mail/packages. Ensure mail is postmarked on schedule.
Assist in Abeka Office
Oversee specific tasks or special projects as needed for supervisors, other staff, and student employees.
Develop Improvements
Suggest improvements to the procedures and processes of the mailroom.
FLSA Status - Scanning (Non-exempt)
Education
Required Education: HS
Preferred Education: College Degree
Work Experience
Required Experience: 1+ years in customer service
Preferred Experience: 1+ years in a mailroom
Physical Requirements and Skills
Ability to lift packages, Communication, Microsoft Office, Operating Office Equipment
