This position serves as a Property Manager in the Material Management Division of the Logistics Service in St. Cloud, Minnesota VA Medical Center and supported catchment area, with responsibility for the inventory and lifecycle management of all non-expendable (NX) equipment in the assigned areas.

Major duties include, but may not be limited to the following:
Manages inventory levels for expendable supplies and durable medical equipment (DME) to ensure adequate stock and availability.
Analyzes inventory data (e.g., usage, demand, stock levels) to determine supply needs and support inventory decisions.
Performs physical inventories (e.g., wall-to-wall and cycle counts) and reconciles discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
Maintains inventory data in automated inventory management systems (e.g., GIP or equivalent).
Identifies and resolves inventory issues such as shortages, overstock, and expired items.
Supports acquisition activities by reviewing supply needs and assisting with purchasing actions, including use of a purchase card.
Develops or follows inventory procedures and standard operating processes to improve supply operations and efficiency.
Coordinates with clinical staff, procurement personnel, and vendors to resolve supply issues and ensure availability of required items.
Monitors supply usage and recommends adjustments to stock levels to maintain effective inventory control.
Ensures proper storage, handling, and rotation of supplies in accordance with established guidelines.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time; Monday through Friday; 7:30am 4:00pm

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicants must possess one (1) year of specialized experience that equipped them with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of this position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this position. To be creditable, experience must have been equivalent to at least the GS-7 level in the Federal service. Qualifying specialized experience includes: maintaining inventory levels for supplies and equipment; reviewing physical inventory and updating records in an automated system; working with staff and vendors to resolve supply issues; using a purchase card to order supplies; and advising on the management, control and accountability of equipment in use.
NOTE : Applicants wishing to receive credit for such experience must indicate clearly the nature of their duties and responsibilities in each position and the number of hours a week spent in such employment.

EDUCATION:
Applicant possess a successfully completed master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. of J.D., if related that demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of this position.
