Mixer Operator - 3rd Shift

We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Mixers/Scalers. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and repackaging large quantities of product into smaller batches, following written instructions. You will also have the opportunity to train on mixing machines once proficiency is achieved. This position requires physical strength and stamina, as lifting between 50 to 75 pounds throughout the shift is essential.
Responsibilities

Work from written instructions to measure and repackage large quantities of product into smaller containers.
Train to operate mixing machines after demonstrating proficiency in initial tasks.
Read instructions carefully and add the correct amount of ingredients to produce batter.
Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality throughout the temporary period.
Essential Skills

Experience in mixing, scaling, or batching is preferred.
Strong math skills are essential.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
Additional Skills & Qualifications

No formal education required.
Must have production or manufacturing experience.
Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing setting with a team of over 10 people in mixing and scaling operations. Employees must wear non-slip, oil-resistant shoes, a clean t-shirt, jeans, and scrubs provided by the company. It is imperative to be punctual and maintain attendance during the temporary period. Shift hours vary: 3rd shift from 9:30 pm to 5am.
Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Reading, PA.
Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
