Supply Chain Tech Senior - OR
The Supply Chain Tech Senior - OR serves as a lead worker and supports a 24-hour operation that includes daily supply handling; scanning, ordering, inventory stocking; and distribution of materials throughout multi building and work sites in the OR/Procedural areas. The Supply Chain Tech Senior - OR serves as a resource for team members and precepts new hires. The Supply Chain Tech Senior - OR helps determine optimal stocking quantities through data and customer interactions.
Essential Job Statements
Ensures that all supplies are scanned, inventoried, pulled, put-away and replenished in an accurate and timely manner
Performs inventory management such as: Expiration dates, rotating stock, cycle, and inventory counts.
Inspects items to ensure they are not damaged or expired before stocking.
Confirms delivery dates, identifies issues and resolutions to supervisor.
Maintains supply carts to ensure supplies are organized and neatly stocked in the correct location and quantity.
Trains all new supply chain techs and senior tech's as appropriate.
Handles all urgent and emergent supply situations and resolves system driven order issues.
Communicates with nursing staff, using par utilization data to report par usage data for item usage and space optimization.
Assists in resolving back-order problems with prime vendors and the Purchasing Department.
Ensures responsibility and visible commitment of diversity equity and inclusion programs/initiatives through collaboration and implementation of initiatives across the organization.

Required Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum Qualifications
Years and Type of Required Experience
2+ Years' supply chain experience.
Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
Working knowledge of computers.
