Pick Packer - Shipping
This position is responsible for safely, timely and accurately picking products in assigned zones. The position is also responsible for assembling, configuring, and packaging products in accordance with customer requirements, work instructions, and shipping schedules. This role ensures that all packaged products meet Bosch's quality, labeling, and safety standards while supporting operational efficiency within the warehouse and production environment.
Key responsibilities include:
Walking throughout the warehouse to locate and pick products based on order specifications. Utilize a manual pallet jack to transport picked items to the packing area.
Securely packaging finished products, applying accurate labels per Bosch and customer requirements, and verifying order accuracy prior to shipment.
Recording material and component usage; notifying supervisors of low stock levels or replenishment needs to avoid production delays.
Performing visual inspections of products and packaging, identifying and reporting defects or discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with established quality standards.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area in alignment with 5S and Bosch safety standards.
Operating all tools, equipment, and packaging machinery safely and properly while adhering to safety and environmental policies.
Partnering with warehouse, logistics, and production teams to resolve issues, streamline material flow, and support cross-functional activities as needed.
Maintaining reliable attendance and punctuality; weekend work and overtime may be required as needed to meet customer and business demands.
Your profile should include:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Prior manufacturing, assembly, or packaging experience preferred.
Ability to read and follow written work instructions, diagrams, and quality standards.
Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
Basic computer and inventory tracking knowledge a plus.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, quality, and workplace safety.
Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. Future sponsorship for work authorization is not available. The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is hourly $18.37 - $21.54. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc.
