Mold Technician

The Mold Technician role is a hands-on technical position responsible for setting up, starting, operating, and shutting down injection molding machines on 2nd shift. You will perform mold changes, mold setups, and material handling while ensuring that all machines, molds, and related equipment operate safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures.
Responsibilities
Set up, start up, operate, and shut down injection molding machines on 2nd shift according to production schedules and standard operating procedures.
Perform mold changes and mold setups, including installing, removing, and securing molds safely and efficiently.
Carry out lockout/tagout procedures during mold changes, maintenance, and other required activities to ensure a safe work environment.
Handle materials for the molding process, including loading, unloading, and staging materials as needed for production.
Monitor machine performance and product quality, making adjustments to molding press programming and process parameters as needed.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kalamazoo, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.90/hr.
