Warehouse Shift Supervisor (1st Shift)

The Warehouse Shift Supervisor is to be responsible for all warehouse shift functions including shipping, receiving, and product put-away operations. Ensure proper data flow through the Suja Warehouse Management ERP system NetSuite and RF Smart by utilizing reporting functions to monitor, adjust, and/or complete transactions. The warehouse shift supervisor will also work closely with the Inventory, Procurement, and Logistics departments with scheduling and ensuring balanced, efficient day-to-day operation.
Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 4:30 AM to 1:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Direct Supervision: Directly responsible for supervising warehouse staff during their shift.
Operational Tasks: Focuses on day-to-day operations such as shipping, receiving, and product put-away.
Inventory Management: Ensures accurate inventory records and oversees stock levels.
Safety Compliance: Enforces safety protocols and ensures compliance with QMS, GMPS, and SOP processes.
Team Development: Leads and develops the warehouse team, optimizing safety, efficiency, productivity, inventory, and waste control.
Data Management: Verifies data accuracy within the Warehouse Management ERP system and performs data entry to complete transactions.
Reporting: Extracts reports from NetSuite to support organizational needs and documents changes to system requirements or operating procedures.
Use of Forklift as needed to support team.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions related to safety, equipment operation, and daily work assignments.
Regular and reliable attendance.
Other duties not listed here may be assigned by the manager.

Job Qualifications:
Education:
Minimum of a High School diploma. Bachelor's degree or trade school education/certification is preferred.
Experience:
2+ years warehouse/inventory management experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of inventory management processes and systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify, and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
HACCP Knowledge is preferred.
Knowledge:
Strong knowledge of warehouse management, ERP processes, and systems.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, identify, and address problems, meet deadlines, and stay within budget.
Language Skills:
English fluency mandatory, bi-lingual Spanish fluency preferred.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude in dealing with staff, coworkers, and supervision as well as directly with buyers/customers.

Comfortable with Microsoft product i.e.: Excel, Word, Teams, and Outlook

2 + years forklift experience
Familiar with the process of moving goods packed on pallets or in bins amongst the facilities.
Experience with storage bays, racking systems, following inventory control, and FIFO procedures.
Ability to work collaboratively with others as a team mentality.
Must be agile and quick to respond to changes and the needs of team members and/or the organization.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate when appropriate.
Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple facilities, material handling equipment, GMP's, and a freezer/cold environment of down to -10F degrees.
Certify training on all material handling equipment per OSHA standards.
Working Conditions:
This role operates in a food manufacturing environment.
Frequent standing, walking, and exposure to cold or wet areas are expected.
Must be able to work independently.
Must have a production/sense of urgency mindset.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple facilities, material handling equipment, GMP's, and a freezer/cold environment of down to -10F degrees.
Physical Demands:
Comfortable working in a refrigerated freezer/cold environment down to -10F degrees.
Must be able to stand, sit, bend and be able to lift 50lbs, push/pull up to 100lbs/continuous motion.
Ability to perform repetitive motions, including lifting, grasping, and handling materials or equipment.
Must have sufficient hand-eye coordination and dexterity to operate warehouse tools, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely.
Capable of safely operating manual and electric pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other warehouse machinery.
Ability to tolerate constant movement, exposure to varying temperatures, loud environments, and occasional vibration.
