Business Systems Analyst (Warehouse Operations Support)

The Business Systems Analyst (BSA) supports warehouse operations and business systems by identifying operational gaps, troubleshooting system exceptions, and assisting with training and process improvement efforts. This role works closely with warehouse operators, supervisors, and IT partners in a high-volume, deadline-driven distribution center environment.

The BSA is primarily responsible for proactively identifying new exceptions, uncovering training opportunities through direct engagement on the warehouse floor, and assisting with triage, root cause analysis, and resolution of system and data-related issues within the Irving DCC.

What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job?
Investigate, troubleshoot, and help resolve system and process exceptions impacting warehouse operations.
Perform hands-on root cause analysis of application, data, and process issues and assist with resolution or escalation as appropriate.
Act as a functional subject matter contributor within one assigned area of the supply chain warehouse environment (e.g., receiving, picking, packing, shipping, inventory).
Proactively engage with warehouse operators and supervisors to identify recurring issues, process gaps, and training opportunities.
Assist with documenting identified issues, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and recommended process improvements.
Support system testing activities, including test case execution, issue validation, and defect documentation.
Assist with identifying data issues and perform limited data research or correction activities in coordination with IT and business partners.
Track exceptions and issues through their lifecycle to ensure visibility, proper handoff, and timely resolution.
Support training efforts by helping identify learning needs, validating training content, and assisting with knowledge transfer.
Communicate effectively with operations staff, supervisors, and technology teams to relay findings, issues, and recommended actions.
Manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities in a fast-paced operational environment.
What are the requirements needed for this position?

3+ years of experience in business systems analysis, operations support, or a related IT/business role.
2+ years of experience working directly with customers or internal operational users.
2+ years of exposure to ERP systems such as Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS), NetSuite, or SAP.
2+ years of experience working in a large-scale, distributed business or system environment.
Basic to intermediate proficiency with SQL or T-SQL for data investigation and analysis.
Strong preference for experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, reverse logistics, or manufacturing environments.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), inventory, and order management concepts.
Experience using standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio) or equivalent.

Pay Range:
$64,900.00 - $108,200.00

Any posted pay range considers a wide range of compensation factors, including candidate background, experience and work location, while also allowing for salary growth within the position.
