These are CSA "Cloud Solution Architect" roles on a Global Delivery CS team. You would be a W2 Apex Systems employee and a Microsoft consultant/contractor on a MULTI YEAR contract basis with no end date.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer with

expertise in Azure,

with deepexpertisein

Azure Infrastructure, Azure networking and network security, hybrid cloud environments, andon-premisesinfrastructure.

You'lllead engagements focused on migration, modernization, operational excellence, and resilient architecture

using frameworks like the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF) and Well-Architected Framework (WAF).

The successful candidate needs to have several years of experience with

Azure Hybrid Infrastructure, Networking and Cloud Architectures.

Role type:

Engineer to advise on architecture, consulting, and support to help customers drive solutions and resolutions

Qualifications

Technical experience with

Azure infrastructures, Cloud Architecture Design Patterns - CAF and WAF.
8+ years' experience with

customer facing roles

in Cloud Infrastructure, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base, and advanced troubleshooting.
Understanding of Microsoft's Modern IT Architecture and Strategy.
Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing Public/Private Cloud and on-premises.
Advanced Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred (AZ-305 / AZ-104 / AZ-700)
Characteristics of importance include but are not limited to customer service, problem solving, communication skills, and the ability to read/interpret the needs/wants of customer executives and leaders.

Required Skill Set

Azure Infrastructure Customer Engineer Technical skills:

Broad knowledge of Microsoft's Cloud services with deep understanding of the following:

Azure Infrastructure (Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Desktop, Azure VMware Solution)
Azure Monitor (Log analytics Workspace, KQL, DCRs, AMPLS)
Azure Network (Hub/Spoke and SD-WAN Architectures / Azure Virtual WAN, Azure DNS, Private Resolver, Express Route/S2S VPN, Private endpoints and Private Links)
Azure Network Security (Azure Firewall, External NVAs in Azure VMs, WAF)
Hybrid services (Azure Arc, Azure Site Recovery and Backup)
General Azure PaaS knowledge (SQL MI, App Services, APIM, App Gateway, LBs, ...)
