About the Role
The Operations Coordinator for the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Catholic Diocese of Peoria, acts as a key operational assistant, facilitating day-to-day administration of Curia and supporting strategic initiatives of the COO (presently focused on efforts surrounding the Beatification of the Venerable Fulton J. Sheen). This role requires high-level administrative expertise, discretion in handling confidential information, a commitment to the mission of the Catholic Church.
What You Will Do

Executive Support: Provide comprehensive administrative assistance, including managing calendars, prioritizing meetings, handling correspondence, and organizing files.
Operations: Ensure smooth day-to-day operations for the office of the COO, maintain operational systems, improve workflow, and manage documentation.
Liaison and Communication: Act as a central point of contact for the COO and diocesan departments with external partners.
Project & Initiative Management: Assist COO with special projects, strategic initiatives, and research. Track key deliverables and follow-ups on behalf of the COO or other departments as directed.
Meeting Preparation: Prepare agendas, briefs, presentations, and reports for Executive Team and key meetings.
What You Need

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:
Experience: 3+ years of experience as an executive assistant, management or equivalent
Problem Solver
Exceptional Organizational skills with multitasking abilities
Technically savvy with ability to learn new programs
Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Suite
Physical and Work Requirements
8:30 am to 4:30 pm, M-F with occasional travel
Ability to work flexible hours and be available outside regular business hours when needed (evenings/weekends on occasion).
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
Familiarity with the Catholic Faith
