Job Title
Patel Logistics Inc. is seeking a delivery associate to join their team.
Key Responsibilities
The delivery associate will:
Deliver packages safely and efficiently to customers' homes, apartments, and businesses.
Interact positively and professionally with customers to provide a great delivery experience.
Follow a planned delivery route, ensuring timely delivery of all packages.
Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, handle packages carefully, and use handheld technology to manage deliveries.
Adhere to all safety protocols and driving regulations.
Handle unexpected issues that may arise during delivery and escalate as needed.
Work effectively as part of a team, supporting other associates and contributing to a positive work environment.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues to the management team.

Qualifications
Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Capable of lifting and carrying packages up to 50 lbs, and comfortable walking and climbing stairs.
Proficient in using handheld technology and GPS devices.
Strong verbal communication skills to interact with customers and team members.
Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a customer service role.
Familiarity with the local area and traffic patterns.
