Senior Accounts Payable Specialist - LATAM
The Senior Accounts Payable Specialist - LATAM will facilitate the processing of non-trade accounts payable invoices. Essential duties and responsibilities include uploading invoices into accounts payable system, charging expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoices, obtaining all necessary documentation for processing, responding to questions regarding invoices, researching and resolving invoice issues, escalating more complex issues to team lead, providing research and documentation to assist regional and corporate accounting teams, communicating with various individuals from the branches and the finance area, adhering to compliance and operational risk controls and regulatory standards and policies and practices, analyzing payables data as requested, and assisting team lead with various projects.
Required: High School diploma and 3 years related experience required. Preferred: Trilingual (English, Spanish, Portuguese speaking/writing). Minimum: Bilingual (English, Spanish speaking/writing). Knowledge of general accounting procedures. 4 or more years related experience. Intermediate Excel knowledge. Associates degree.
Key skills and competencies include organizing/prioritizing, attention to detail and accuracy, problem analysis and problem solving skills, and communication skills.
