Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving patients, determining their needs and directing them accordingly. Responsible for gathering all required information for new patients and creating new patient charts from all sources. Responsible for updating all existing patient information. Responsible for performing all duties in accordance with office policies and procedures.
Qualifications
REQUIRED
High School Diploma or equivalent.
One of the following:
6 months of Clerical/Secretarial Experience or 6 months of customer service experience
Completion of a technical, diploma or certificate of credit program
Associate's Degree
PREFERRED
Previous experience in a Physician Practice setting.
Displays a professional, outgoing, warm, and helpful attitude.
Possesses the tact to deal with patients, guests, co-workers, and physicians.
Successful completion of course in Medical Terminology or commensurate experience
Work Hours:
8:30AM - 5:00 PM
