Where is the work:
On-Site (5 days)
As a Material Handler, you will maintain inventory identification and locations, deliver items to the production line, operate a forklift, and unload trucks and racks.
What you will do:
Promotes values as demonstrated in personal productivity and quality of work, management of internal/external relationships, actively seeking out and participating in Continuous Improvement practices, and willingness to engage and support team initiatives.
Comply with workplace safety procedure.
Regular and reliable attendance, which includes punctuality and working scheduled overtime, is necessary to meet our commitment to provide quality products and service to our customer.
Maintain inventory identification and locations. Correct and transfer items in the MRP system. Move received items from dock to assigned inventory locations. Label and move rejected items to the non-conforming skids to QA office.
Use restocking list or answer production request to deliver items to the production line. Inspect product to ensure they are correct before delivering to production.
Maintain open communication with team members. Work to help other team members as needed.
Complete material/inventory investigations to ensure accurate physical and system representation.
Maintain and complete Standard Work and documentation to track task accomplishment.
Other duties as assigned.
What you will bring:
Relative Work Experience: 1-3 years related experience preferred.
Education: High school diploma or GED required.
Certifications / Licenses:
Computer Systems / Software: MRP/ERP (Fourthshift) preferred. Data entry and computer skills required.
Specialized Training: Must successfully complete forklift training
Additional Requirements:
Must be willing and able to drive a forklift and/or scissor lift.
Willing to work as a team and help team members.
Demonstrates ability to make timely and appropriate decisions based on standards.
Ability to complete own work with little to no supervision.
Capability to follow established procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation and data; concentrate on routine work details amid periodic interruptions.
Is open to the ideas, diverse views and opinions of others; offers opinions constructively; helps when needed.
Ability to lift 40 pounds repeatedly on own.
