What's a typical day as an Electrical Product Assembler? You'll be: Receiving assignments and instructions from supervisor, following drawings, Bill of Materials, and other established manufacturing procedures Reading and understanding schedule and work flow requirements Gathering materials from storage areas and completing kits with hardware and parts Assembling components per provided drawings and established standards Inspecting assemblies, products, processes, and materials for conformance to design criteria and specifications Keeping tools, equipment, and work area clean and orderly Performing minor equipment repairs and machine maintenance Utilizing computer system to review procedures, drawings, and non-conformances Following all safety procedures and policies of the company Performing work in other departments as needed Assisting in training of new operators Investigating potential and actual non-conformances and recommending corrective action Performing other work as required
This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Have a High School Diploma or equivalent Have experience in electrical product assembly or a related field Possess knowledge of various tools and equipment used in electrical product assembly Are able to work at heights and in confined spaces Have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures
