Job Type: Full-Time
Job Purpose: The Shipping & Receiving Operator coordinates shipping documents and reconciles production reporting daily; prepares transport documents for out of country shipments. This position is currently 3rd shift but final shift is dependent on an internal shift change.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate receipt, filing, and accuracy of shipping documents
Prepare shipping documents, including out of country shipments
Ensures required documents are accurately completed and maintained in an orderly file
Accurately and timely completes entries into BAAN/SAP
Creates plan shipment documents
Provides backup coverage for Logistics Specialist and other department employees when assigned
Must be able to operate a lift truck, and have or be able to obtain a forklift truck license
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma/GED from an accredited institution and at least 1-year experience in an administrative support role and or shipping receiving position at a manufacturing facility or distribution center
Ability to use computer systems including MRP and MS office
Ability to read and interpret documents in local language, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to do mathematical functions, including add, subtract, multiply, divide, interpret Pareto Charts, Bar graphs, Flow charts, and other quality tools
General Job Requirements:
This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands. This position requires you to drive a company vehicle. Therefore, you must be able to pass the company's driving requirements. Certain vehicles may also require a specific drivers license and have additional driving requirements.
