Electrical Assembler

The Electrical Assembler mechanical assembly of electrical components, control panels and enclosures. Also, responsible for machine wiring and for performing quality testing on electrical systems.
Job Responsibilities:
Assembling mechanical and electrical components to build complex systems according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Testing and troubleshooting systems to detect and solve technical problems.
Conducting visual inspections of components and completed systems to ensure quality standards are met.
Maintaining accurate records of production data, testing results, and other reports related to the assembly process.
Collaborating with other departments such as engineering, quality control, and production to ensure efficient assembly processes.
Making recommendations for improvements to the assembly process to increase efficiency and reduce production costs.
Following safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
Keeping tools and work areas clean and organized.
Position Requirements:
Education and Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent. Vocational school, trade school, or formal OTJ apprenticeship training preferred.
2 years of experience in experience in electrical assembly required. Experience in the machine tool or industrial machinery industries preferred.
Machine maintenance and or PLC & drive experience a plus.
Knowledge of NEC, CSA, NFPA standards
Knowledge of best practices in machine and control box wiring
Proficient at reading electrical schematics
Troubleshoots, problem solves well
Works to continuously improve processes and procedures
Must be able to lift electrical boxes (35 lbs)
Skill Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow complex engineering drawings and specifications.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, measuring instruments, and electrical testing equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
Good attitude and potential to grow in the role.
Knowledge of basic math and computer skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
The standard shift schedule for the Electrical Assembler position hours are 6:30 am

5:00 pm. Monday through Thursday. Actual hours may vary by overtime requirements and flexible shift scheduling to meet demand. Compensation: $21-25 per hour based on experience, plus a benefit package including medical, dental, life, and 401K with company match.
