Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the Regional Program Supervisor and other staff in the Greater Orlando area within the HCBS Medicaid Waiver work stream, and coordinates with other administrative support staff within the Region to ensure administrative functions are conducted timely to promote Regional operations.
The Work You Will Do
Provides secretarial support to the Regional Program Supervisor and Medicaid Waiver Unit Liaisons, which can include preparing correspondence and reports, filing, faxing, photocopying, routing correspondence, email communications, mail distribution, routes complex inquiries to appropriate staff, and responding to telephone and email messages in a timely manner.
Maintains current database/tracking log for waiver clients including status and assigned waiver support coordinators.
Maintains current database/tracking log for waiver support coordinators, indicating availability, caseloads and contact information.
Process additions and transfers to waiver including choice letters and file documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
Type and send denial letters and other due process letters to clients, prepare copies for client and supervisor in a timely manner.
Schedule meeting room for Area waiver support coordinators and assist with preparation of materials.
Assists with the tracking and preparation of assignments including required monthly reports.
Assists in coordination of work assignments within the Regional Office including phone and receptionist duties.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Must have experience providing administrative support in a professional office setting. Knowledge of computer software including applications Administrative and clerical procedures and systems Ability to communicate effectively with others in writing.
