2 years of dispatch experience in logistics or local trucking
Previous overnight shift experience preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Strong typing skills and attention to detail
Ability to read, write, and communicate fluently in English
What You'll Be Doing
Dispatch drivers for domestic freight pick-ups and deliveries
Communicate pick-up and delivery assignments to drivers in real time
Serve as the communication hub between internal teams, drivers, and external customers
Perform accurate data entry and maintain shipment logs
Respond to customer service inquiries with professionalism and efficiency
Draft and manage emails using Outlook for timely shipment updates
Support overnight operations and ensure schedule adherence
Lift packages up to 30 pounds when needed
