Delivery Associate
Essential duties and responsibilities:
Must always represent The Hicks Delivery Group in a professional manner
Drives van from delivery station to designated customer areas
Uses hand-held device for routing information, customer delivery information, to communicate with delivery station and leadership.
Loads and unloads packages into/out of van, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to move boxes up to 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
Must be able to easily get in and out of the van, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Inspects van equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and exterior of the van for damage.
Maintains contact with leadership to receive delivery instructions if unclear or if problems arise.
Secures packages to ensure no damage is caused to customer delivery.
Follows all safety rules and company policies.
Must be able to work in a fast pace environment.
