Job Description:
Conduct patient assessments, including physical examinations and review of medical histories.
Evaluate diagnostic tests such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans to assist in diagnosing orthopedic conditions.
Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
Assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, positioning patients, and providing surgical instruments.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care, including medication management and patient education.
Physician Assistant Qualifications:
Master's degree in physician assistant studies from an accredited program.
Current and valid Physician Assistant license in the state of NY.
Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
