ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
Schedule/Hours: Part-time, Monday
Friday
This position is responsible for:
Responsible for the food pantry and other donation pickups, which includes maintaining a consistent state of cleanliness and order in all areas, keeping an accurate count of donation inventory, maintaining Salvation Army vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Completes a daily pre inspection sheet prior to pickups.
Picks up food and other donations from various vendors.
Weighs all food pickups and record data to logs.
Fuels vehicle in accordance with state gasoline regulations and The Salvation Army standards.
Schedules routine maintenance of The Salvation Army vehicle to ensure safety of passengers and long life of vehicle.
Washes and cleans vehicle regularly.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language. Ability to drive and obey all traffic laws. Ability to perform strenuous, heavy work involving the lifting and carrying of heavy objects. Duties are usually performed by combinations of sitting, standing, lifting, and walking on a frequent change basis. Moderate amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light to heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.) frequently. Work is usually performed in a normal food pantry environment where there is some physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like, with the exception of driving conditions.

Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU
